Welcome to emWave2,  Pro and Pro Plus version 3.8

Announcing a new single installer for all three emWave Products!  emWave 2 and emWave Pro/Plus  functionality have been merged. After update your application name will be emWave Pro.

During installation you will be prompted to select your version. emWave 2 does not require a license/registration key while emWave Pro and Pro Plus do.  If this is your first install of emWave Pro or Pro Plus you will find your registration number located on the back of the Quick Start Guide that shipped with our sensor.  If you purchased an upgrade you would have received your key in an email.

After update the application name will be emWave Pro.  If this is an upgrade, your data files will be preserved.

System Requirements:

macOS High Sierra (10.13) or newer

One available USB Port

Internet connectivity required for Software Updates and HeartCloud access

Enhancements and bug fixes include:

• Notarization for macOS Catalina
• Home Page for Easy Navigation to application functions
• The macOS installation process and self repair has been enhanced
• Other bug fixes are also included

Installation notes for a first install:

If the Adobe Flash PPAPI Player (Pepper) is not installed, the user will be prompted to download it and install it on first run.

The system might prompt to download and install the font Kaiti SC.

If this is your first install, macOS will ask you to allow the System Extension from Heartmath LLC. You will have to allow its use in the Security and Privacy Permissions Panel. The system will have to be restarted before the HeartMath sensor will be recognized.

Notes:

Individual heart rate variability patterns differ widely from one person to another. There are no right or wrong patterns. The coherence scores displayed by the products are especially useful for comparing one's own progress in increasing ability to maintain a physiologically coherent state with practice; they should not be compared between one individual and another.  

Individuals with heart rhythm irregularities, such as atrial fibrillation, flutter or intense clusters of premature atrial contractions and children who are unable to sit still may be unable to successfully use the emWave products.
