Note: if you are using emWave2 together with emWave Pro, you must update emWave Pro first or the emWave2 update will fail.

This latest update includes security improvements during updates and bug fixes plus compatibility improvements for Windows 10 and OS X 10.11.

HeartMath does not support emWave2 software installed with emWave Pro. If you have both make sure you are running the same versions.

System Requirements for Windows:

• Microsoft Windows® 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10. 
• 1.8 GHz or faster processor recommend Intel® Core™2 Duo at 2.0GHz or faster
• 2 GB RAM - recommended 4GB or more
• One available USB Port - HeartMath’s USB module sensor is required for Assessments
• Internet connectivity required for HeartCloud access

The upgrade will uninstall a previous shipping versions of either Pro or Desktop if it exists. It will then install the new version. Your data files will be retained.

System Requirements for Mac:

• Mac OS® X 10.7 Lion or newer operating system. 
• Recommend Core™2 Duo at 1.8GHz or faster processor 
• One available USB Port - HeartMath’s USB module sensor is required for Assessments
• Internet connectivity required for HeartCloud access

The upgrade will replace the currently installed application. Your data files will be retained.

We hope you enjoy the many enhancements and bug fixes including:

• The Library and Help files are updated with Assessment information and corrections. Added an option to use local Library in Preferences instead of the version from HeartCloud
• All coherence routines have been reviewed and updated to the latest HeartMath Institute model (modern scoring.)
• USB sessions not previously updated will be updated to modern scoring
• Sessions shorter than 30 seconds will not be saved or displayed in Progress. This includes new sessions synchronized from an e2 handheld or HeartCloud
• Optimizations for hi-dpi displays
• Menu changes and enhancements
• Balloon game tracks progress more accurately on older systems
• emWave® Pro allows upgrade to the new Assessment features of emWave Pro Plus.
  

Important information for emWave Pro Plus Assessments Users:

At the end of the install, enter your 11 character emWave Pro Plus Registration Key when prompted to enable the Assessment features

From the View Menu choose Assessment. Validate or enter the users date of birth and gender. For more information on Assessments click the Help icon from the Assessment screen.

Notes:

Individual heart rate variability patterns differ widely from one person to another. There are no right or wrong patterns. The coherence scores displayed by the products are especially useful for comparing one's own progress in increasing ability to maintain a physiologically coherent state with practice; they should not be compared between one individual and another.  

Individuals with heart rhythm irregularities, such as atrial fibrillation, flutter or intense clusters of premature atrial contractions and children who are unable to sit still may be unable to successfully use the emWave products.
